Attorney M. Kent Kozal was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. Kent graduated from Bishop Gorman High School in 1984 as the Class Valedictorian. In 1989 Kent graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a bachelor’s degree in economics

Kent received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Marymount Law School in Los Angeles in 1992. Kent was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada the same year.  

Attorney Kozal practices primarily personal injury litigation and criminal defense. He is one of a handful of private practice attorneys who have taken a capital murder case through trial.

Kent is married and has two sons and one daughter.
